Padel Is Still Scarce, and That Shapes Everything
Padel courts are far rarer than pickleball courts in the Klang Valley, because a padel court cannot be improvised. It needs a purpose-built cage: 20m by 10m, tempered glass at both ends, mesh down the sides, and lighting designed for a ball that comes off glass. You cannot tape lines onto a badminton hall and call it padel.
The practical consequence is that courts book out, particularly after work. Turning up unannounced rarely works.
What a Good Court Looks Like

Cost and Timing
Rates in the Klang Valley are quoted per court, per hour, not per player — so a doubles game splits four ways.
At De Palma Social Club:

Same rates seven days a week — there is no weekend premium. Split between four players, an off-peak hour works out at a little over RM 11 each.
Peak is genuinely peak. Weekday evenings from 7pm are the hardest slots to get anywhere in the Klang Valley. If your schedule is flexible, late morning is the quietest and the cheapest.

Booking
Reserve online through Playtomic, or message the club on WhatsApp and a slot will be held for you. The booking page has both. If you are new to the sport, say so when you book — racket hire and balls are sorted at the desk, and it is worth reading the rules before your first session so the walls are not a surprise.
